It is near perfect size with the Intruder.....

Sweet! Good to see its similar as opposed to the old PB2 and DB2 form factor

Yes, it drives the LCD3 as well or even better than my AK120.

I won't say DX50 is bright at all. It is just not as dark or warm as the typical 8740 implementation. It is still a bit on the warm side esp on high gain.

Sounds good to me!

It's on the DX50 order page. It says 3.1V at high gain which is about 300mW into 32ohms.

Interesting that the dx50 has more output power than than UHA-6S. I wonder if I'll notice any improvement from using the dx50's lineout to the uha-6s.

If you have a ruler around, how long is that?

I know the site states 10cm, but judging from its looks in these pictures, it seems a touch longer.

  - Coaxial out cannot send 24 bit flac files to iBasso DB2 (ironically), 16bit works fine...
- USB OTG works partially on cheap scandisk memory stick except for large music files (e.g. 24bit files for a long music track)...
- quite a number of flac files cannot be updated into the library
- everytime u turned on the DAP, you need to adjust the vol from 120, it wont't remember the last preferred vol...

[...]

Anyone else have trouble with digital output of 24 bit files via coax?  I have been waiting for this DAP to use primarily as a DAT to use with my iBasso DB2.

Hey, still up for the tour? Mine should be coming on Monday or Tuesday and I should be done in a week or so.

Hey, thanks for the offer, but I got a bit desperate and pulled the trigger on a third batch DX50 already:)

So you can skip me and help out another Aussie who is curious about the 50:)

Cheers!
