Hi guys! I am using Dmitry's sound unlocked firmware 1.3.3 but i can't import my mp3 playlist in hide menu or directory menu. How can i do this? Anyone can help me?

My advice - just forget about it. Import playlist is heck of hassle and trouble on DX50 - it`s not really worth spending time on it, imho.

You guys might want to try it before You "give up" on DX50 sound quality - DX5X:

You know... I actually used simple 25W soldering-iron and solder wick without any special tools to do all that

I think many can do it if they just think every move through and stay calm.

I also have only 1 DX50. But I think it`s quite easy to mod. 7 screws on back cover, 2 on PCB, 2 on middle frame corners, gain switch into low-gain position, remove 3 flat cables from PCB, lock switch into open position and take out whole PCB (keep eye on lock switch while removing) - ready for soldering

Hello all on Head-find.
I've an issue with my DX 50 and would ask for any advice which might help. After starting playing the screen goes off ( as it should) but sometimes it will not 're-activate and non of the buttons when pressed with bring the screen back on. Only solution is switching off and 're-starting. Any ideas?

I have 2 suggestions.
1. Remove case, remove battery, clean the battery contacts and try again.
2. Open up the DX 50, check if there are any loose connections and push them in. IIRC, there is a bus (bunch of wires) that connects the external inputs to the PCB, and that came loose when I was repairing my DX 50.

Good luck.
Cheers,
Shu

Hey, I have some questions, my iem output is a little damage cause it'll DC if I move about. I tried opening it but i manage to get a few screws off while the rest are pretty much flatten and have no way of unscrewing it. Any tips?

You can try a factory reset or reload the FW and do a factory reset.
