I can't remove the 'smaller' 50mm driver as it's glued in.
BUT - looking through the front grills it appears to be a mylar-dome with a fabric dust cap.

Not sure how old this one is, but it's Made In Japan.
It looks like it has a dark coloured coating on the driver magnet.

The ultra sticky foam cleans up REALLY nicely with only isopropyl alcohol.

The absolutely beautiful palladium coated drivers of the Sony DR-Z7. Doesn't look as good as the gold of the DR-M7, but still very pretty
Never gets old.
