Do you know the manufacturer or the model number of the drivers int this picture? Link to thread?

I'm willing to do a similiar experiment myself.

As far as I can see in this picture, he's using 8 apples and 2 melons, I just don't get that..... I'd rather make a fruit cocktail.

He's using CI-22955's.

I'm pretty sure it's the smallest dual-armature available, that seems to have been his thought process here.

I receive some curious google image search results for "CI-22955", including a girl in a bathtub.

That's nice that he managed to fit 20(!) armatures (10 dual armatures) into a single IEM, it's like building two tower speakers with an arsenal of 16 identical drivers, I'm not sure if more oranges ≠ higher quality orange juice, but if he's reading this and would like to comment on how it sounds I'm sure several people are interested in your pioneering project!!

I thought the TWFK's were the smallest dual driver armatures available?

CI-22955-XXX  - 9.47mm x 7.18mm x 4.10mm

TWFK-30017-000  - 5.00mm x 2.73mm x 3.86mm

OK, I meant the TWFK, sorry I mixed them up as I was falling asleep writing that post, he has a picture on facebook where he ordered 83 units of the CI-22955's.

Creative Aurvana Live, difficult to see, but it's a microfiber driver:

And here's the Denon driver of the D2000, D5000 and D7000 models, also microfiber:

Both manufactured by Foster, China.

I'd love to see the crossover in that thing...

And the Denon/CAL! drivers are biocellulose right?

Interesting question. Creative claims the Aurvana Live has a "powerful neodymium magnet driver with ultra-thin bio-cellulose diaphragm". Here's a photo from their web site:

I believe the base of the membrane is made of microfiber. Probably identical to the Foster-made Denon drivers and very, very similar to the Sony Qualia 010 diaphragm pictured a few posts ago with bio-cellulose on Vectran fiber.

Don't miss Tyll's excellent review - "simply outstanding for the price, and would still be a contender at five times the price" - of the Creative Aurvana Live on innerfidelity:
