I upgraded my fuses so they now have electrical continuity from one end to the other..

Makes a world of difference to tonality.

I have owned two world class sources which cost in the $10,000 range each and I sold them for a $1250 DAC from Ultra-Fi called the Dac-41.  It is one tenth the weight and size of the others and is dead neutral and more musical than anything I ever heard.

Which ones?

Ayon Skylla 2, and Reimyo DAP-999EX

12 weeks? I wish! But I hear it's worth the wait. I am relatively lucky and only ordered about 12 weeks ago. Some people have been waiting much longer.

PWD MK II (MK I upgraded preferred)
NAD M51
Lynx Hilo
Weiss 202 (Used)
AGD M7 (haven't heard but have heard it is very good, especially with a good usb converter)
Buffalo III (especially if you have solder skills)

No one pays MSRP on the PWD2.  So my goto at ~$2500 is still the PWD2.  The slightly lower cost Bryston BDA-2 is also quite good.
