"SERIES" being the key word, not "HEADPHONES"

The engraving issues are being addressed, and since nobody has received any HF2's beyond the first 20, there's probably a helluva lot(400++ ?) of cans yet to be produced. Now would be the perfect opportunity to do something about it...

GRADO HEAD-FI SERIES --> Grado consistent naming convention, looks/sounds cool, provides better cosmetic balance on cup surface.

My Loooong wait is finally over. I had to wait since last Friday to pick up my balanced HF-2s as I have been out of town and the wait has been almost unbearable.

Alas a shiny, less blurry, headphone also came in the bag so I think the HF-2s will stay in their box for the time being.

The Greatness of the Blur cannot be truly appreciated without comparison to the NonBlur.

They just have new 4 pins on the end of the stock cables and the last bit of the single ended cable re-terminated to use as an adapter.

I thought you could have it done directly from Grado upon request.

geeze....
open thread, see pic, insta-thought *First Batch out already!. Someone had overnight ship!, pics of box-opening! YAY*

2-second thought *FAIL FAIL FAIL*

Nice re-termination job there, vpi... I don't understand why all balanced setups haven't gone to the 4-pin XLR. So much more convenient, less weight, easier to adapt to single-ended... dual 3-pin XLR = epic fail.

Hello. I have a Grado question. Going up the Grado line, do the phones become increasingly difficult to drive, or is it the upper Grados are no more difficult to drive but simply scale better (and, therefore, benefit more from amping)? Or do all Grados benefit equally from amping?

I currently have just an SR60 and am anticipating the Hf-2. Thanks for any help.
