Would those reshells change the original sound much?

I am not sure whether re shells are actually possible with FitEar customs, purely based on, the fact that the whole CIEM is filled and whether the drivers can actually be retrieved and re used when the shell is cracked.......................

However, due to fine finishing and the short stems implemented, it is possible to obtain a 95+% fit on second hand pair. Of course, one will have to try them first and it seems second hand pairs only appear in Japan. My friend can use my FitEar customs without a problem and they give him a good 98% fit, so he says and seals completely.....................

I can also get about 90% seal on the 335DW owns by one of the staff at Jaben Singapore but totally no seal at all on the C435 owns by Wilson of Jaben. Could be due to the short stem

I could imagine another thread - Battle Of The Flagships: FitEar family with Super-Duper cable ganging up on 1+2 with Uber.

Seriously, I wish that someone like rudi0504 could rank portable gears like this one:

Thank you seeteeyou
Maybe Gavin can do better like David Mahler
He like so many audio gear too , all his collection are high end portable audio gear :D

Thankfully i had a pretty good fit with the jaben sg demos and (uncle) Wilson's 435

I still prefer the 333s over the 335 and 435.. I thought the bass of the 335 was too much and the highs/mids seemed to be a little curtailed at the top end.

Comparatively the 435 has very good layering and separation but the 333s have more weight in the mids and bass

My comments may be biased because I own the 333 xD

333 had more weight in the mids and bass?! I heard a full custom at Jaben and it fit my ear pretty sweetly and I thought the bass was lacking

I couldn't get a fit on the 335, but I definitely liked the 435!

I did tried on the 333 and find that the sound is quite neutral.

I had tried the 333, 335 and 435 so far and preferred the 435.

I had not tried the 334 yet but heard that the uncle who owned it more bassy as compared to the 335 that he told me.

Sounds about right re: 334 being bassy.

Perhaps it's the source then :p

But my session with the 435 I found the mids of the 333 more forward and bass tighter though.

Maybe spkr01/ Gavin can share his comparisons too :D

I personally found everything on the 333 forward (barring its lack of bass)

I like how Gavin is now the go to person for FitEar too by the way

A quick note on the Private 333

Vocals and the mids defintely takes center stage, highs and lows are present but takes a secondary role.

The 333 is definitely the pair in the range that has a very unique character, and not the typical FitEar house sound but if you like vocals and like hearing it as if the singer is caressing yours ears with their voice, then a huge thumbs up for the 333

Well, they look quite similar in style/quality to the BTG overmold, except with strain relief instead of memory wire and black instead of clear... I still wish the L/R indicators were made on the broad face like the stock ones, but I guess these overmolds are blowups of the normal IEM overmolds, so their placement is the same.
