The FitEar CIEM Impressions Thread

That’s interesting it would be more interesting if someone could point out the drivers used in TE200 are the same with Air2/Titan or not. By the way I would like to point out the price difference as well, the Fostex TE200 is 182000yen where the Fitear Titan uiem/ciem is 299000yen almost 120000yen difference (The Fitear X Jaben Network 9th anniversary edition Titan with Creator silver 4 custom cable is almost 524000yen/36800hkd), if the Fostex TE200 have the same hardware and layout and could provide similarly in sound signatures to some point reflecting the price differences it is still a very attempting choice for me, however the Fitear Air2 still cost a bit less(I won’t even use the word cheaper for this price range of iems since its really high end). This also happen with the EST Universial and the new EST Ti Universial where pricing at 259200yen(Fujiya Avic) which is also 120000yen more expansive than the normal EST Universial where the EST Ti Universial offers a more clinical sound than the normal EST...the only thing I can say is the Fitear titanium shell is really expansive isn’t it, although it is really collectible. Talking about titanium shell unique melody is launching 2 new titanium shell uiem as many might know although I still haven’t got a chance to audition it. Some of my friends saying that the Fitear EST Ti Custom is coming later this year but who knows.

I did try both UM titanium IEMs. The cheaper 3BA was mediocre and the more expensive, 10(?) BA one was downright horrifying. Easily one of the 2 or 3 worst high end IEMs that I've ever heard.

With the Titan a lot of the price is definitely going into the collectible status. Aside from the 335dwsr I didn't find huge technical performance deviation between Fitear's IEM's, and while neither TE200 nor the Air2 is resolving at its price point, you're not going to really miss out on any details with either one of them.

worst at that price lol, I wounder why UM are chaning there sound signature, some old UM i tried a few years ago in e earphone akiba actually sounds nice for the price.

Yeah i agree the Titan Shell model is collectable but more and more is coming out....first the Titan CIEM(first 10 come with 009 cable, one side marked Powered by Fostex), then the EST Ti Universal for Fujiya Avic on 2018 December, now the Jaben X Fitear Titan UIEM (bothside Fitear logo, creator cable box as I know), and my pair which is the first few Fitear Titan UIEM (one side marked Powered by Fostex, come in the same package as the Titan CIEM) from Fitear... then coming soon the Fitear EST Ti Custom, maybe next year I could dream for the MH334SR/335DWSR Ti custom version lol <--just too many of them. hard to say if they will be collectible in the future...

yea, may be not TE200 anymore, I am looking forward to buy a 64audio U18 the end of this month and mod it...seems fun

Just tried the 334....wow! I've never heard an iem that's so good with vocals . The Andromeda is very good also. But maybe the 334 is better. . .I was just wondering if there's anything else like the 334 but less expensive? Or any other fitears that's similar in tuning?

Go try Aya. I rate the new Sony IER-Z1R and M9 quite highly too but not as vocal focused as the Fitears.

with my now quite extensive experience, my straight answer would be no. TG334 are unique but technically they are a bit behind now. I owned both 334 & Andromeda in the same time and I decided to let my Fitear go (partially because of the bulkyness of the shell)

If I'm not mistaken the Aya is only available in custom form? I'm just wondering how would you compare the m9 to the 334? Quite interested in those too .
I only have the custom 334 with the SR mod.

If comparing TG334! to the M9, the TG334! will sound thicker and a lot warmer with a lot of mid range presence with a rolled of treble.

The M9 have a neutral presentation but still have a good midrange, it completely outclass the TG334! when comparing resolution, micro details and texture.

I won't recommend the TG334! nowadays, it was a competitive IEM a few years back but a lot of the new IEM outclass it within the price range.

I see. When I tested it I still thought it was very good, though I only have the Andromeda and oriolus mkii to compare so don't know how other new iems compare, but I will definitely give the m9 a try .
