The FitEar CIEM Impressions Thread
Nov 28, 2015 at 2:18 AM Post #4,546 of 6,678
Hi everyone,

Was wondering if anyone could give me some advice on what/which additional equipment would complement the FitEar private 333... I don't seem to be able to find as much info on the 333 as the other FitEar models.

On a side note, anyone managed to compare the 333 with FitEar parterre?

(I'm clueless about the technicalities of audio stuff so hoping all of you could give me your valuable inputs!!)

I would swap out the stock cable. You will find it capable of a lot more. Toxic cables copper Black Widow and silver based Gold poison (which is gold plates silver) did it for me. :)

Yes, you are right. It is underrated and under-exposed compared to the 435, 334 and 335. But nonetheless stellar for vocals. :)

Thank you for replying!!!

May I also ask, apart from the cables, is there any setup that you recommend? Haha, my inventory is zero at the moment, so while waiting for the 333 to arrive, I'm trying to research on more things to purchase to complement them.

No worries at all. Hmmm... I liked them with all my DAPs. So, it's fairly easy to pair with. Only caveat perhaps is the Tera Player but then again, that's the Tera for you...

Simple advice is to bring your 333s when you try out DAPs. No substitute. :)

Hehe this is great news! I'll go and try different ones out!

Frankly, you don't need to blow top dollar. Try out the Lotoo PAW 5000 and AK100ii. Just let Sheila or Claire know that Mr Lee suggested you try those two with the 333. If they have the Moon Audio Black Dragon cable, I would give it a listen. If you want to audition the BW, drop a PM to Guan22: he's the Singapore sole distributor. If he doesn't have it, let me know. Happy hunting. :)

Dear all,

I am considering Fitear MH335DW and VISION EAR 6 x1/x2, which one is the better choice?
The price for MH335DW now is racing, actually is expensive than VE6, thanks for the opinions.

Eddie, I have heard the VE and I own the 335. After the 335, it was difficult to imagine having to live something less dynamic and somewhat veiled to my ears. Of course that's just my view. :)

Anyone experienced the 335DW with the Chord Mojo? Does it hiss?

I'm using 335 with mojo. SQ is good: quite neutral, no hiss, but I wish it were a little bit darker :). However there were some units (probably from first batch) do hiss a lots. If so contact Chord or your dealer for an exchange.
