Remember back two years... Nomax had the true dirt on the akg k812 when everyone else was feeling around in the dark (or non-dirt to keep the metaphor consistent I guess). We all thought he was nuts, but his info was legit. Watch this space.

I think we just got a little more info about them just now!
 
If they are only going to be available as a combo, that almost guarantees that they are going to be electrostatic!

Yes its was funny to give leak information and post the Picture about the K812&SPL PHONITOR 2 etc etc as first on Head fi in the Past:stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye::stuck_out_tongue:

He said on post #163 that the "next sensation will come from sennheiser". Someone in this thread also guessed that it would be a closed back headphone, and Nomax said that he is on the right path. My guess about "Diana" is that it's a closed-back alternative to the HD 800, or it is an upgrade from the HD 630VB. It maybe has nothing to do with being a higher-end 630VB though because that headphone came out very recently.

Well uhhh... They are all dynamic/ortho? I guess Diana will have a completely new type of driver?
