The FiiO X3 2nd gen (ex X3K, X3II) Thread : 192K/24B, CS4398,Native DSD, USB DAC with LO and inline remote

 } is it necessary to buy Fiio X3 2nd gen while you already had some dap, we can say like ipod touch and a chinese mp3 player? I cannot decide which one to sell,  LoL

 
This is a high res DAP with USB DAC and native DSD support. If you're only looking to play MP3 and AAC then just get yourself an X1 or stick with what you've got.

Moooooore memory (128GB microSD aren't that expensive), probably better DAC and AMP, probably yeah! Even for MP3 

Although if you're on a budget I would upgrade the headphone first. 
Oh you already have some nice headphones, well I would get the X3 then

Which one to sell? Well it depends who you gonna use it, if you live in a dangerous place I would sell the iPod and use the Ruizu on the go and save the X3 for more "secury" situations, if you live in a really safe place I would sell the Ruizu, and use both on the go.

Thanks! I'll think about that later, but honestly the ipod touch cirrus(plus d-zero) for other cans (px200, baldoor) make it dry and cold I would like to use those cans with ruizu plus d-zero

I gotta tell you James, I still very much like my original X3.
 
Could it be that as it was your 1st entry into the DAP market that you did what Bugatti did with their Veyron??
 
I'm of the opinion the original X3 will become a collectors item much like the 5.5 gen ipod video.

My X3 is me first DAP and still hold a very special place in my collection .....though just recently got me self oldmate X5 ( btw excellent condition and seller) ....for the life of me ....still loving the buttons configuration ...maybe its just me ..old skool :rolleyes:

thanks, the original X3 is a classic model in our history and it took us 3 years to develop it , and it is the first model which we collected customers input from R/D. of course, it was the best sell 192/24 DAP when it was introduced to the market.
