The Muses02 chip is one of my favorites for a good reason.. Hence why I really like the Shanling M2 and I'm hoping the same will go for the M5, as they both utilize Muses8920 chips.. In my opinion, the 8920 produces a very analog sound (Natural/Organic) so it makes Timbre and the overall soundscape feel like you're in the room with the band. Which makes guitars leads and vocals pop due to the in room echoes that can now be heard vs before, there was no echo present. It sincerely has to be heard to be understood. All I can say.
The Shanling M5 seems nicely priced at $400+ on amazon.
I should consider buying one of their players in the future. Since I just got my Fiio X3ii I might as well get the E12A amp
