There's no template. You just unpack the firmware and modify the existing themes. It's all pretty straightforward and simpler than creating a Rockbox theme as you can't move stuff around too much.

If you're wondering how to unpack the firmware check clee290's signature 2-3 pages up.

I think he's talking about a template for the stickers (skin)

Yes, I mean template for the stickers. :D

Sound great. I'll try later. Anyone here already try to make custom personal skin?

My first port theme X3 II (getting started)

I could not change the font color in the player. Could anyone help me?
I want to make orange, just like the X3 II

Great job so far! In the Theme folder, there is a config.ini file. You can change the font color there. The player uses hex codes to control the font, so when you see something set to FFFFFF, it means the text will be white. So if you want to change it to orange, you'll need to find the hex code for the orange you want then change whatever you want to orange.

Don't be alarmed, it's nothing to worry about. Sometimes (all players) can freeze up, even my Sony Walkman NWZ-F806. It's just a normal occurrence which happens now and then.

Just received my FiiO X1. Pairs very well with the IM70. One thing I'm wondering about is the SD Card slot. Is the SD card suppose to click in place? Mine keeps popping right out making this DAP unusuable unless I hold my thumb over the slot.

I've got a question for you guys - I'm pulling the trigger on the X1 today, and I'm trying to decide on a memory card to go with it. Would a class 6 24MB/s card be sufficient to use? I can get a Samsung brand class 6 card for $12, or a Samsung class 10 for $16.
