I guess the journalists don't have much for resolving gear.

I really enjoy Adel but the mastering of that album does no justice to how damn good of a singer she is. If anything it brought her down. But since mainstream doesn't really care about audio quality its a non-issue in that regards (it's as if it was mastered in low bit mp3) :wink:

eke2k6, I'm very sorry to hear about what's happened. Not only for the loss of gear, but mostly for the experience in itself. I hope you can get your stuff back and something to compensate for putting you through an ordeal like this.

Very interesting James. So that plug in is suppose act as some sort of gain control for the tracks? lol at the dynamic range graphs

. It indeed sounds as bad as that graph looks.

Sorry to hear about your ordeal, eke. That's a scary thing to happen, and if it were me, I'm not sure what I've done by now. Here's hoping the police book him in time before he sold all your gear.

This plug-in looks interesting....I wonder how one would use it for their home listening? And could it make Death Magnetic sound good?

Depending on what kind of latency it has it may be useful in foobar to manage brickwalled recordings.

I have been trying to warm up to Adele, and frankly just find something missing on both 19 and 21. After looking at the reports there now I know what it is. She really needs to get hold of Mark Knopfler and use his people to mix her albums.
