For those of you that were curious about the HD650 refurbished from vminnovations first they are sold out so hopefully you snagged a pair in time and mine will be here tomorrow and I'll post some quick pictures so we can see how the come in. Also they are doing the 598's now for only $179! Not a bad price at all!

not a good deal.  Was $40 on amazon deal of the day.  And word has it that it's a downgrade from the older xb500.

Even if you weren't comparing them to the old XB line you would still be disappointed. Cheap feel cheap build and the sound is just awful. All that fun bass and signature sound that made them famous is all gone. Sony makes a much better portable unit with better sound, looks, and overall feel.
