I just got another yesterday and using it for a daily driver since almost any amplifier except a piggy-sized Gustard will fit on it. 5 volts output and the onboard amplifier is 1.5w @ 32ohm so it's really usable. I keep IEMs on it and swap with the remote to Ampzilla for heavy hitter headphones.

It appears that delayed shipping around or following the Canjam event is a recurring issue with Audeze. I experienced a similar situation two years ago when I purchased a spring steel headband after the SoCal Canjam. It took them two months to ship the item, attributing the delay to the backlog created by the Canjam show.

Yep I ordered two and it's confirmed but no tracking. There must have been a recent Can-Jam for them to attend and set back their schedules. I just bought the demo H300 amplifier SMSL used at it. Not even worried if it takes a while, those cases are usually so expensive.

I've had these and really like them. I tried sub 12hz content on a DT990 600ohm and couldn't get it to go into protection mode, so I think the issue on ASR is probably only extreme cases (or maybe didn't have them loud enough).

S.M.S.L D400ES Audio DAC $439 used from SMSL Factory store so they warranty it. I have a D400 coming Wednesday, if it sounds as good as the DO300EX I have, but with 3 watts into 32ohm instead of 1, will keep it. I'm sure this is a good DAC though, the D400 on sale is probably the best value.

It's nice, but if you can swing it, the DL200 is at $151 and I just got another one last week and keeping it for a daily driver. The 1.5watt into 32 ohm amplifier is really good, on the M300SE the 4.4mm isn't bad, but you'll get frustrated and add an amplifier to it eventually for headphones.

Yep I just only see a pair a couple of times a year, so included it. I've had most of the Hifiman lineup and some like the He5se which sounded really nice, but such tight clamp, even worse than the Sundara by 2 hat sizes. I might grab one someday just to see if it's people remembering it as epic, or been eclipsed by stuff like the Arya Stealth which is my favorite Hifiman model.

Does anyone know if the audeze case will fit the egg shaped hifiman he1000 stealth?

I just pulled the trigger... I think it should fit since the website mentioned that "With the Maxwell, it’s a little tight, but it does fit." and He1000's width is less than that of the Maxwell. I just measured the width of my HE1000s and it's 4.24", so I think an extra 0.25" should be ok and just slightly depress the foam.
