If you missed out on the Liquid Spark from my previous post, the Monoprice Ebay store still has the Monoprice Monolith Liquid Spark Headphone Amp for the $32.49 price! There is even a bulk discount if you want to buy two for some reason.
https://www.ebay.com/itm/394965402017

Get them while you can before they fix the price there, too...
My order, placed on March 3, was canceled yesterday (March5), with the following explanation: "Unfortunately, the seller had to cancel your order due to the following reason: I'm out of stock or the item is damaged." The ebay site shows that the product is out of stock ("579 sold").

I see the main site also shows out of stock. Makes me wonder if this was some kind of warehouse clearance sale. I was almost expecting it to be discontinued after a sale like that, but the website shows a restock date this month.

I assumed they were clearing them out and discontinuing. Kind of long in the tooth at this point. Got one from the eBay listing and it's seemingly on the way.

I got this email from Tidal and I guess this is somewhat of a deal.
Tidal is going to provide full lossless, HiRes FLAC, and Dolby Atmos sound for the same price of $10.99. No more extra fees for the "Max" HiRes.
This could be a game changer and put Tidal back on top for HiRes streaming. I switched to Qobuz after Tidal unceremoniously ended the Best Buy pricing for their service and wanted everyone to pay $20 a month for the top tier. Sound quality on Qobuz is just as good but Tidal integrates so much better with other services (Alexa, Chromecast, smart speakers, etc.), and also gives that added Atmos/Sony 360 bonus, which sounds phenomenal with the right equipment (a Firestick and an Atmos speaker system rocks). Does anyone have more information about the pricing change? I checked their website today and their pricing tiers still list HiFi and HiFi Plus. Odd that they would just email current subscribers about the upcoming price change. Maybe they are trying to squeeze out that last bit of revenue on new Plus subscribers for the next month? I bought a year-long Qobuz subscription in January, but I think Tidal just made themselves the clear winner of the top three (Tidal, Qobuz, and Apple) in HiRes streaming if you care about that kind of service.

This new $20 for top tier thingy starts only on April 10th.

Just going to chime in to say mine arrived. Needed to use an RCA to 3.5mm cable to connect to my DAC, but it was a fun listen with TONS of dial headroom left when using my Sennheiser HD 800 last night. I think this would be a stupendous deal for HD 6xx owners looking for their first amp, slightly tube-like in the sense of good soundstage depth and smooth liquid tone (but not bass boosted… the leading edge attack is solid though!) without the hassle of looking for good tubes or dealing with cellphone interference. It’s currently sitting on top of my Mac Mini, very small.

That is, if you see them in stock again.

Aliexpress Anniversary Seasonal Sale Starts: Mar 18, 03:00 EST until 3/27
This one has a lot of discounts on audio equipment already marked down, but prices and coupons not good until Mar 18th
Login with the app to clip sale coupons which are:

$5 over $39
$10 over $79
$20 over $159
$40 over $299
$80 over $499

Stack any cash back credit card on top of it like:
Capitol one 3 percent cashback on Aliexpress, or PayPal MasterCard via PayPal
Either will double warranty another year.

This is a yearly sale, the next is
June 12th Summer Sale
Brand Shopping Week (August 18-21)
Then Singles day November 11
Black Friday Nov 20th

Here's a couple I'm looking at as an example:
SMSL D-6s $169.99 sale price
https://www.aliexpress.us/item/1005006068121359.html

SMSL H300 Headphone Amplifier
$260 sale price
Capitol one 3 percent cashback or PayPal MasterCard via PayPal
Either will double warranty another year.
https://www.aliexpress.us/item/1005005665523390.html

Both qualify for the $40 off coupon
Then 3 percent cash back
2 year warranty with doubling the factory 1 year
Shop around the stores and check their policies, I'd recommend getting SMSL stuff directly from their store, or the Shenzhenaudio Store is another huge place I've had good results with.

Capitol One currently also has:
Aliexpress 3%
Walmart 5%
Adorama 4%
Newegg 3%
eBay 4%

Some current good deals are:

Topping E70 Velvet AK4499EX DAC $359 used w 1 year warranty -black
https://www.amazon.com/AK4499EX-Decoder-Bluetooth5-1-Digital-Analog-Convertor/dp/B0BPP411QJ/

SMSL DO300EX $304 used w warranty.
I just got one and the sound quality is fantastic, but 1 watt into 32 ohm means the power isn't unlimited.
https://www.amazon.com/DO300EX-Headphone-Amplifier-Converters-Black/dp/B0CGDFNCRG/

SMSL DO400 Full Balanced Headphone Amplifier DAC $375 used w warranty
I have one of these coming next week, can report on it when it comes in.
https://www.amazon.com/DO400-Headphone-ES9039MSPRO-XMOS-XU316-Black/dp/B0CFTHLXJ3/

TOPPING D10 Balanced DAC $90 used w warranty
https://www.amazon.com/TOPPING-Balanced-ES9018K2M-OPA2134-Amplifier/dp/B099WRRR5C/

Topping A90 Discrete NFCA Headphone Amplifier (silver) $400 used with 1 year Hifi-College warranty
https://www.amazon.com/KGUSS-Discrete-Headphone-Amplifier-Pre-Amplifier/dp/B0B4JRY19Z/

I've had great experienced with Hifi-College for their warranty, can't say much about Aoshida-US (if it's used and shipped directly from them it'll be fine, if it's shipped by Amazon, don't get your hopes up).
