100+ Head-Fier
Audeze is running a trade in to get the crbn or lcd-5 for $2495 if you trade in a high end headphone with a msrp of $1499. There are terms to this of course. Details are on the Audeze site. It's running until June 30th
Seems like the M1570 is excluded from the deal. This is my first deal post so I apologize for any break in format/rules. In short, the venerable Monolith M1570 can be had for ~$130 on Monoprice right now with something they are calling "Angel Savings." I bought the M1570 when it was on a "deal" 50 days ago (5 days after the return/price match policy) for ~$375. I kept it at that price because it punches way above its weight class and I honestly would not be mad at the original $600 asking price.
It's fairly well known at this point that Monoprice makes "homages" (read: blatant copies) to Audeze's much lauded cans. Sure, you're not going to get Audeze build quality at basement prices, and this is an open box unit, but if you like music at all, you really owe yourself a set of these. These could easily be "endgame" for a lot of people and the $130 price tag ($107 on sale but add taxes/shipping) is just an insane deal.
You must use coupon code "A17G3L40" at checkout in the "Promo Code" box to receive the 40% listed price of $179.39. I have no idea when the deal ends but it's still live as of 11:54 PM EST on 6/10.
Note: The coupon is a hard ONE-use per user, so I suggest checking out the full sale (https://www.monoprice.com/pages/a...gelsavings). You can also grab the M570 and Liquid Spark amp together for something stupid like $100 after taxes/shipping. There are also some killer speaker deals.

Firestick 4k would decode for only $35, unless you're using pi for other stuff too.A Raspberry that can handle Plex (1080P or even 4K decoding) would be nice…
They say it’s possible on Raspberry but my DS218Play with 4gb starts continues buffering with 1080P streams above 10 Mb/s. So 4K is even harder to decode. I can’t see a Raspberry do any better…
The description says quantity of 1, and the price says each. So for the pair it’s like $966.Kanto Tuk Black or White for $483 Office Depot. On back order but says will ship when back in stock. Never seen them new for this price. Typical sale price is about $800.

Dual AKM chips, both balanced (4V) and RCA (2V) outputs, a volume knob, all in a tiny package with a tiny price. Gotta admit, my interest is piqued
Yeah. My current DAC, the Schiit Modius, uses the old pre-fire AK4493 chip, whereas this DAC uses two post-fire AK4493S chips. I don't know how the 4493S differs from the original 4493 non-S, or how two chips versus just one sounds, or if the differences are even audible. I just know I find myself largely content with my current DAC, except I wish it had a volume knob. This seems like it'd be the closest thing to what I have now, except with the knob I want added.Especially after that AKM factory fire in late 2020.
Drop is going to do the EA500 at $59:

Nice neutral IEM.
I like to see it as 25% offTwo-three months waiting for it to ship saves you twenty bucks.
I think the -S means singed or sooty, since they’re post fire.Yeah. My current DAC, the Schiit Modius, uses the old pre-fire AK4493 chip, whereas this DAC uses two post-fire AK4493S chips.
