The Denon AH-C620R are for sale now on Aliexpress for 43,80 euro. Maybe they found a batch? Anyway, when introduced in 2016 for 99,- euros they got some decent reviews. I am very curious about them so I ordered some.
I also did see a store in the Netherlands that have some of the discontinued Audio Technica LS70iS for sale from 149,95 euro to now 70,- euro. I think the LS70iS will sound better than the AH-C620R but as a owner of a AH-D5200 I had no other choice than to go with the Denon’s

I'm not trying to piss in your punch bowl, but "overpriced Master & Dynamic headphones" is one of the most redundant phrases in headphone audiophilia.The masters and dynamic Micheal Jackson $99 dollar HP's, were originally $450... They're very ordinary. V-shaped, consumer sound. The build quality is nice, though. Plenty of leather and aluminum.
Still, M&D is aiming straight for the Brooklyn hipster crowd, sheep who will pay far over market value for a certain "look" or brand cache.
At $99, you're paying about or maybe slightly less than what these cans are worth. Sincerely hope you dig them!

They're definitely "fun." V-shaped, which for some reason has become the same as "genital warts" in the audiophile community.Aww, I have my Stax, wood Denons, wood AT, Focals and Sennheiser's for serious listening... These are for fun, maybe when I put them on, I'll start moon dancing...
I wouldn't want V-shaped cans as my daily driver, but they're always fun for a diversion and different sound.

I bought a pair HiFiMan RE-800 silver, that where 599,- at introduction, for 48,- euro on Aliexpress. I confirmed they were not fake by buying a pair from Amazon for 150,-, listening if they sounded the same, and returning the pair to Amazon. I can confirm they sound exactly the same. I love them. My best pair of IEM’s.

That was fast shipping on the master and dynamics MJ MW50+... Yep, these are genuine M&D's.. I looked up more info, released 4 years back, so a little old compared to 2023. Can't go wrong for under $200, @ $99, a steal....

I see the master and dynamics MJ MW50+ get some really good reviews but have the regular consumer in mind and not the audiophile listeners.
In the Netherlands they cost 507,37 euro so 99,- is really a steal. They got my attention, thats for sure, but I am not really a bass lover and like more neutral sounding headphones. I wish I could hear them and see what the fuss is all about. Also I don’t like using a EQ. I think headphones and IEM’s should sound good right out of the box, thats why I am selling my HiFiMan he400se.
