I'm starting to wonder if these should even be mentioned as a deal anymore?
I mean, as long as you have that "?EmailPrice=T" part in your link, they've been available for ages at this price. Long enough I'd consider it the reg. price now, personally
But that's just me. I guess it's still good to point out for the newbies…

It was actually still $450 until this holiday season. And the new $400 price tag might be here to stay, because that seems to be the pattern. But this $400 price tag is pretty new. Although definitely still only a $50 discount, not the $1,400 discount they make it out to be.

They're on Amazon sold by Hifiman for $615.94, on Ebay for $384.00 to $1799.99 and Adorama still tries to sell them for full list, $1700.00 without the deal, so yeah an unwary buyer could end up paying way too much.

You occasionally see some people pop up on Reddit saying they just bought the $1,800 HE6se V2, and then all of us who know better and just sitting at our keyboards like, "Should we tell him?"

Yah. It's just kind of reminding of when you see the local furniture store has a big mattress sale. Seems like a great deal. Then you realize that you've never seen those mattresses not on sale…

I picked up a pair at the new “sale” price (along with a new IEM) and have given them to my wife to wrap as her Christmas present to me, thus removing the stress of finding me the perfect gift. I’m just that considerate!

Bravo! I've long given up on hoping that someone unfamiliar with my fetishes, will randomly select a gift that fits with my preferences. I just ask for "Reserve Bank Gift Vouchers" (ie. dollars). Nothing like seeing things that pander to our obsessions, whizz past in sales and then getting something "interesting" later as a gift.
Stand up and proudly say: "I'm weird. I enjoy esoteric stuff, indistinguishable from expensive junk in your eyes!"
Of course, any of you that are more well adjusted to society. What are you doing here?

Doesnt really count as a link but those of you with Amex, theres quite a lot of nice audio stuff you can get with the point offer on Amazon. Use 1 single point (6 cents) worth and get 40% up to $60 off.
1MORE Triple Driver Over-Ear Headphones (H1707) $109 from 1MORE at https://usa.1more.com/products/1more-triple-driver-over-ear-headphones. These are listed as "Clearance" and are described as the (usually considered better) graphene version. There have been better prices in the past (certainly $99 and maybe once $69), but this is still well below the current amazon.com price.
