Yep, Santa has the elves packing one up for me! :L3000: The AQ4 is a pretty amazing deal too, but I already have that.

I know it doesn't have dual DACs, LDAC Aptx-HD or adaptive. But it does have a mic, USB-C charging and a decent battery life. So for anyone with a phone without a 3.5mm jack you are trying to seduce (into the hobby, just to be clear), these aren't a bad present. Aptx and AAC aren't the best codecs, but they cover both apple and android well enough, certainly better than SBC. For anyone you have previously given an IEM (guilty here), these offer additional convenience and functionality. Under $20 ATM and reviews are good.

On the other hand, if you feel that you have enough spare cash to give everyone a BTR7 for Xmas, then add me to your list please!:ksc75smile:

That is a crazy price. Even for parts that's like $14 a pair for two sets of pads which are compatible with a lot of other headphones.

I suspect these are actually the same thing as the Brainwavz HM5. The same headphone has been sold by NVX, Lindy, Fischer, and Brainwavz, so I'm guessing they all have the same OEM.

The Monoprice HR-5C may actually work with Meze-99-type cables, so someone could pick up this generic Meze-99-type 4.4mm cable for $15.99 USD to go with this Fosi DS3 DAC/Amp for $59.99 USD after applying the $20 USD off coupon as well:

Looking at the HD6XX on drop right now and it's priced at $199. 58X is $149.
Elex $599,
Aeon Closed X $429
8XX $899

Most everything looks on sale. Sorry if this is a double post, I hadn't noticed anyone mentioning the $199 6xx.

i think the original price was $150 -> $170 -> $200 (the $200 price hike was this year). with that in mind, I would be surprised if they go past 25% off.

they have a 30 day free return policy on the hd58x, so you could just buy it, and if it's cheaper on BF, return the original set and buy a new pair?
