Is the Ultimate One an upgrade from Fidelio X2HR or nah? Really like the look and materials used on these....

You can get very close to the Ultimate One look and materials for a lot less Sivga Branded. Their model SV007 appears nearly identical and was originally advertised as having 50mm Beryllium film drivers. It sold for about $100. Sivga's OEM obviously makes the KLH, which has real leather and they claim more Beryllium. I do not think it is an obvious upgrade from your X2HRs.

I just got Sivga's new closed back SV021 which IMHO is even prettier I think, and sounds great.

My wife and I moved up to the Bay Area 7 years ago and low and behold there was one a few miles from us. We’d pop in there from time to time since then just to peruse and see what Blu-ray movies were on sale, but like Boxster said it just went downhill. Last time I was in there was probably 3 years ago because they had a multi-tool that I wanted at a good price, but it was just a sad experience.
