Nice find, but from all the reviews the Drop Sennheiser HD 58X Jubilee @$170 is essentially the same. I've never understood Sennheiser's MRSP on the HD660S.

Depends on what you mean by essentially the same. Don't people also say the M1060 is basically an LCD too? I've seen most reviews saying 58X and 660s have a similar sound signature but the 660s are more resolving and detailed. You hit diminishing returns pretty quickly as you go up in price.

It's not essentially the same. It is similar in the way that the 58X is similar to the entire 600 series, but it's not actually the same driver despite some erroneous claims early on from some reviewers, and the 660s is more technically capable in my opinion. Whether it's worth the additional cost is really subjective though.
