I agree, it would be nice if they at least said what the defect is like ZMF did for their sale. Despite that, the LCD-4 and 4z prices are tempting

I thought if they offered the LCDi4 at $1200 would have been very tempting. At $995 it's a steal.
Also the LCD3 is a magnificent headphone. I would highly recommend it.

I've been holding out on buying used LCD-i4 hoping they would show up on BF. Guess my wish came true and I placed the order already.
If I didn't already own LCD-4, would have been very tempted at that price too.

So out of those choices, I would probably go with the XC. They would all sound awesome but reason being that it is a limited edition and could become a collectors item - probably have the best resale value down the road.

Is the lcd-3 that big a jump over the LCD-2? Tempted .. Can't decide between the lcd-2 and 3 even at twice the price..
OMG!!! I regretted selling my rosewood LCD2 3 years ago. My intention today was only to get the LCD2 classic and I did but also I'm getting back my Rosewood! Two LCD2 for me! I'm broke but happy
