Hey guys, killer deals on Riva Wireless speakers at Riva's official website. For $200 you can get 2 Riva S' for a TrueWireless setup.

1 Riva S for $150
2 Riva S for $200!!

I'm in conflict deciding between 2 Riva S or 1 Riva Turbo X. Which do you guys recommend?

I picked up an open box Turbo X for $150 shipped. It's the best-sounding Bluetooth speaker I've heard, by a pretty wide margin. Most reviews I've seen say the Riva S isn't as good, but I haven't compared the two personally.

Is it that much better than a UE Boom, the Turbo X?

HS

I have a UE Roll (version 1) and I owned a Sound Blaster Roar Pro, but haven't heard the UE Boom. The Turbo X sounds significantly better than the Roll, but the gap is narrower than with the Sound Blaster Roar Pro.

I've been curious about UE's Boom series, but just haven't had a chance to hear them.

If you don't already know, if you buy two Riva S you can pair them and use each speaker as the Left or Right for stereo. You get much better stereo sound using two of them in "dual mono" than just using one in stereo.
