At this rate, when I end up wanting to buy an 800S in a few years, I'll be able to get the original dirt cheap by comparison and just do the anax mod.

No more SEX from Seattle, get it while you can
Also some good deals on crack.

From Bottlehead:

With apologies to Ben Franklin -

In this world nothing can be said to be certain, except Death and Crackses.

From today through next Friday, April 15th, when you buy a Crack headphone amp kit you can add the tremendously popular $125 Speedball upgrade kit for just $30. Yup, that's a $95 savings! We get a huge number of orders when we run this kind of special, and we are careful to ship the kits in the sequence that the orders come in. So the sooner you order, the sooner your kit will ship. As usual, we estimate the ship time to be around 4 weeks plus or minus a week or so.

So much for the Crackses part. The death part is that, after an amazing 21 year run, we have decided to retire the S.E.X. kit. While the 6DN7 tubes used in the kit should be easily available to the end user via ebay or other sources, we have been struggling for some time to acquire them in the quantities we need to support production. We have just 5 S.E.X. kits left as of this morning. When they are gone, that's it!

Offers available via online order only.

Join us on April 30th for a Head-Fi meet at Bottleheadquarters. These events are open to the public and great fun. Not only can you hear the Bottlehead lineup of headphone amps, headphone aficionados from all over the PNW bring their gear in for everyone to sample. The meet starts at 1p.m. Plan some extra time on Bainbridge Island to visit Backstreet Beat Books and Records in downtown Winslow and Bainbridge Island Brewery right next door to Bottleheadquarters.

Bottlehead will also be attending the Portland Head-Fi meet the following weekend. We'll see you Portlandians there!

Regards,
The Bottlehead Forum Team.

I don't understand these Mystery Bags. The items are the description for each bag's contents. The price on the item is same as mystery bag price.

What am I missing? If you buy the mystery bag, I assumed you would be entitled to a lower price or something.

What gives?

Yes you are missing the thing in the red circle (to highlight) - you need to add the item into your cart with that button, not the one below:

Another low-cost circumaural open headphone!  I wonder how it compares to the Sennheiser HD-518, the Philips SHP9500, and the Audio-Technica AD-500X and TAD-500.  There is very little on head-fi about the DTX-910.

Type in 'DTX900' it's virtually identical predecessor for some older reviews etc
