Demo PSB M4U 1 from Audio Advisor for $189 shipped:

http://www.audioadvisor.com/prodinfo.asp?number=1PBM4U1

Thanks for posting this. I'm very tempted. Audio Advisor is only about 20 minutes from my house. Might have to see about picking up a pair. Last time I was there, they didn't have a showroom setup. They are definitely an Internet direct dealer only, not a typical HiFi store. But if the demos look to be in rough condition, I don't have to walk out the door with them. :dt880smile:

Are there any reputable Canadian sites who ship to the U.S without charging customs fees?

It seems like Canadians get killed on the pricing for hifi gear, so I'm guessing this is doubtful.

Just seeing if I can take advantage of the strong U.S. dollar and score some deals.

Not really for headphones, but for other (often related) excellent audio gear and parts, the Parts ConnecXion has worked well for me in a handful of purchases:

I've bought a lot of audio gear on these 2 sites:

Probably should have gotten more positive responses.  Straight non-detach cord and PRO version, so a bit more head clamp than Premium.  The clamp is easily adjustable using the highly technical "just bend the thing" mod.

I have some 880s which I like a lot.  Some of the 990 reviews are negative about its comparatively more "fun" bass and treble enhanced signature....but when directly comparing my 880s to a friend's 990s, the difference is noticeable but not inaccurate to my ears.    I liked the 990s better on a lot of music...not old style Beats crazy bass.

Your deal reminder cost me $100 plus some eBay bucks that were going to expire. So thanks I think.
