WOW. Truly the deal of the year and it wasn’t some cartoonish What.

Q701 at 170$ on Amazon.com
Yup, it's the $99 DT880 600Ω from Focus Camera.
Box is in nice shape with just minor warehouse scrapes.
The case and headphones had some specks of factory debris, but it had that factory smell... so it must be new!
Really surprised how it only takes 2/8 on the E10K to power these.

Find an OTL amp to discover what these cans can really do.

Just got my early Christmas present!
Wow nice... I was too late to snag the DT 880 600. No biggie as I already have the 250 ohm version of these cans.
I did snag the T70p for $200 however.... hope I like them as from what I've gathered their unique signature is rather divisive in the land of headphonedom.
I think I need an intervention as I've purchased 4 pairs of headphones in the last month. I have averaged about a 40% savings over regular retail prices due to holiday sales and I've sold a couple pairs I no longer listen to so maybe it balances out a bit.
Enjoy the DT 880 600... definitely one of the best headphone deals ever!
Thanks!
But yeah, I'm definitely gonna get called out for using a puny E10K with these. Well, at least it's already less harsh/sibilant than the 32 Ω I tested last Sunday at AC Gears. I don't wanna dabble into the amps/DACs side of this hobby. I'm just here for the headphones!

Get signed up for school.. so what's the best thing to do? Buy some HE500s.
Torn between stalking this thread for an Amp/DAC and trying to avoid it.
If you're posting - it's already too late. Welcome to the addicts den

Your lucky. They just sent me a 32 ohm version. When I do a search for DT880, it comes up empty.
Guess I need to talk with them.

I have these and have been been meaning to do a quick review of them.
Here is a quick synopsis:
Pros:
- Good Build
- Solid Fit (not going to come off during exercise)
- Easy Bluetooth Connection and Control
- Good Battery Life
Cons:
- Solid Fit can be a bit tiresome on the ears after a short time
- Muddy overall sound, but for this price, that is to be expected
The sound signature is dark, but there is enough detail that these can be enjoyed while exercising.

Yikes... that's unfortunate, but also kinda expecting them to mess up at least once considering how the boxes can be confusing. Have you chatted with them yet?
