Debating between the aune x1s and that o2 + odac for my Fidelio X1.
Go with the O2 +ODAC. The Aune has a high output impedance.

Found a manual online but Output Impedance was nowhere to be found in it
The only reference to impedance was "Headphone output : 300 ohm/80MW"

I have been planning all along to go for the thx00 Massdrop deal, then I started looking at the dt1770. Now I'm not so sure
Both.
Sell the one you don't want for $20 cheaper. Done.

The TH-X00 is limited to an initial run of 1950, so it may not be readily available if you decide the dt1770 isn't for you. The massdrop deal will definitely sell out today.

Initial run, yes. But the odds of a second run are very high, and a few will show up on the FS forum within a week of arrival.
Regardless, sight unseen (hearing unheard?), I would bet on THX00 over DT1770 without hesitation. If you're not a real basshead, ZMF is the way to go.
Couldn't stop myself I went for the the TH-X00.
Thanks for your input... I think? (Wife's gonna kill me)

Haha...my wife doesn't know. And she won't know...until the big box from massdrop hits the doorstep. Then I'll tell her not to ask questions this close to Christmas.
