I have the same speakers and they sound great with my Sony MAP-S1 unit. Truly a bargain price. I don't think there's a speaker out for the $99 price that can match it's build quality and contemporary aesthetics.

Hmm I'm looking for the best imaging performance at that price range. Ideas?

Speakers, placement of speakers, and room influence will have FAR more impact on that than whatever receiver you chose. So much so, that receiver choice is not worth worrying about in that regard, IMO.

Beyerdynamic DT 880 Pro 250Ω on eBay (sold by Adorama) for $159.99.
I think it's the lowest for an 880 Pro without a rebate.

Wow, I paid $5 more for a "Very Good" used set from AWD last month and thought it was a great deal.
I't buy another, but I do not think they will break or wear out.

A perfect match for when your on the go in your speedo:
AKG K451 - $39 shipped. $65-75 elsewhere.
Are they the best headphones in the world?
no.
But quite nice I think for a very small foldable on ear. The sound can be a bit polite at first, but my ears seem to get used to them, an enjoyable musical sound.
Some have complained of comfort issues...the headband too tight. The center top of the band is steel with soft plastic bumpers. You can safely bend that part to adjust the tension as you like it. Extremely comfortable once that is done. Built quality looks scary, but mine have never let me down.
