No, they were saying if you see those serials to contact Sennheiser, did you read it? The person who made the listing is trying to help.

Yes, he's trying help Sennheiser, but he also listed the serial number of his headphones.

One of AT's nicest sub-$200 offerings and one of my favorites. They're over-ears but small enough to be on-ears for some; just sufficiently over-ear for my ears. For a reference, my ears are just a tad big for the Momentum 1.0 to be over ears. They make nice portables due to their flat profile but isolation is only on par or a bit better than the MDR-1R/A because of its 3 vents on each earcup.

I saw their google shopping reviews before I posted, haha.... let me rephrase:  Even though they have a decent google rating, is there any chance I get something counterfeit?  I really doubt they are making counterfeit A900x's as they arent that popular, but all the fake Sonys that were floating around back in the day still has skeptical I guess.  Probably answered my own question though... suppose I am just being paranoid.  :)

At the very least I would assume they are not factory authorized thus no warranty  coverage by manufacture. Many place offer the warranty but it useless.

As for the A900X being a "deal", I would say no. It's been on BuyDig for $109 ~ $120 several months ago and lowest was something like $99.

Unless you really want the fat bass of the A900X, you're better off with the WS99.

The headband is a dead ringer but cup is very different. Huracan is an over ear whereas ML seems to only make on ear.
