Struggling with getting the Westone Adventures.. I don't really need them.. and I stop listening to just about all my IEMs after the first two weeks and they just get piled up in a drawer..

Logic would say, for what.. move on. But.. I'm about 89% sure I'm going to pull the trigger and then not use them 2 weeks after I get them.. wth man.

I feel your pain...absolutely DON'T need more iem's (or over ear, or on ear, or amps, or dacs, or...). Do actually like these, though, and they have the utility of being really good at noise reduction, think they will replace my Ety's for noisy outdoor chores (leaves, mowing...), which were my previous noise reduction champs. They're not better, but about the same, and less PIA than the Ety's with their filter changes.

UERM is on MD again https://www1.massdrop.com/buy/ultimate-ears-custom-in-ear-reference-monitors

$699 if anyone is wondering.

And if you got the digital impressions at CanJam, they should still have them on file, saving you a few bucks.

Oooo, got the acs ciems, which are "at the shop", waiting on them (forever). Really tempting, but, see post above, don't need them, don't need them, don't need them....

I uh.... sort of folded. My justification is that I have a team building/business trip to SC coming up in two weeks and there's going to be "Adventurous" hiking and camping and other outdoorsy crap going down. Hope these make it in time.

Perfect timing sucks some times.

Sounds like fun, just keep on eye out for gators, water moccasins, and Mosquitos the size of flying chihuahuas......

Really, really nice deal on Yamaha HS-8 Studio Monitors for $259.99 apiece on Massdrop right now. That's $90 off the Amazon price each (or $180 off a pair).
