The Deals DISCUSSION Thread (READ THE FIRST POST!!!)

Wouldn't be the first time someone or Amazon got it wrong, I think it's either one of the Head-Fi reviews or somewhere on Amazon. Beyer lists 5-30khz so even at 50hz you'll feel a bass massage.

Unfortunately it's back to $250, the sales has come and gone.

*EDIT: So I just realized the sale that was posted here were for DT100s not DT150s. Now I'm all mixed up which I read had the high pass filter.

Not a bad price for the DT100 - $156.09 shipped

However there is a B-Stock on Ebay of the DT250 80ohm: http://www.ebay.com/itm/Beyer-Dynamic-DT250-80-B1-80-Ohm-Stereo-Headphones-BSTOCK-/391046689268?

I think the seller will do $140 shipped if offered. I'm not affiliated to seller.

But the OG Beats had recessed mids/low-treble, where Beiber sings... Might not be as bad as an Ultrasone on the same tracks!

I will trust your judgement on this!

That said, I think you're using the term 'sings' very liberally.

Boy, this brings me back memories of once, when Amazon priced the DT250 at 20 some odd dollars and a bunch of us here were on board to get them at that ridiculously low price, including myself. For some strange reason, I backed out the very last minute and I regret that decision to this day. At the very least, I could have resold them as like-new and made a killing on them.

Yeah, I jumped on that deal, only to get denied by amazon lol. Too good to be true, except that quite a few people got it!

Here's a snapshot out of Head-Fi nostalgia for ya. Actually, it was only about two years ago this unbelievable deal was live. (In my opinion, it is second only to the $50 month or so old, like new HD600's someone got here through craigslist):

You can apply for a Rakuten Web Credit Card and upon approval have 8000 Super Points ($80) to use instantly which, for example, would drop the current prices of HD 650 and HD 600 to $259 and $219, respectively. Mighty tempting for me. I've read so much about these two Sennheiser headphone icons over the years and I think either is sort of a "bucket list" 'phone to own.
