The A900X for $120 is excellent. It's sold for less in the past, but I doubt it'll ever dip that low again.
i think the reason that time it went so low was because they had only a few and wanted to clear out their stock...especially since now they are discountinued....funny thing is, there is still alot...and i mean alot of these headphones still in stock and being sold at different vendors

Even two years ago, relative soon after they were released, refurbished/open-box units (in like-new condition, I might add) were often selling for ~$100 (that's when I got my pair). Makes me think they weren't as popular as Audio-Technica expected from the start.

Wondering if Black Friday will bring better deals than the ones we are seeing?

Edit: Wouldnt it just be better to be on Buysonic.com? I mean its the same website and company...although i have not done the math but probobly cheaper on buysonic as it is....

Any chance Buysonic will have the discounted price on the HD800 again in the future? Do these deals come back from time to time, or are they a one time, you-snooze-you-lose thing? As tempting as the price is, I am broke right now. :frowning2:

No one knows for sure, but history suggests that it will be back at that price vacinity or even lower from time to time for short periods of time.  Stay tuned to this thread for updates.
