Think about how much ebay made in listing fees. Beyer probably sells them for $400 a piece, so I think they'll be ok
Let's say listing fee come out to $5k? At $400 a piece cost is 30K for qty of 75 plus the 5k fees. They still made $15k which at 75 pieces is $200 of profit per unit. Take off $20 for discounted shipping and they're at $180. Not bad and yes, they'll be perfectly fine.
I suspect that we will see a new Beyer flagship before too long.

I got a review pair of the Atlas a while ago and I was impressed by the sound: balanced with good dynamics. I gave it 4/5 stars on Amazon with the sound leak and build quality not matching the price as the reason for knocking one star.
At MSRP of $99 I thought the sound was the thing that matched the price. Build felt like it would be in the $50 range. This sale makes the Atlas attractive.
As I mentioned, the sound leaks both ways at comfortable listening volume.

My local Guitar Center had several Beyerdynamic DT-880 Pro Headphones (250 Ohm) on clearance for $169. I was returning a ATH-M50x and almost bought one. Decided to save my money for something better down the line.
