Thanks. Will check it out..
I was hoping for something like the FiiO E7 for like $30:)

There's a Dragonfly 1.0 on the classifieds for $85 shipped.  I'd grab that if you're considering an E7.

Probably not the place to do this (sorry), but I'll be selling my FiiO E07k+E09k for about $120 pretty soon with their original boxes.

Or get one new from Audio Advisor for $99. http://www.audioadvisor.com/AudioQuest-Dragonfly-v10-USB-Digital-Audio-Converter/productinfo/AQDRFLY%20%20%20%20%20%20%20%20%20%20%20%20%20/#.U3OakvldVRo

They're $99 new everywhere for the 1.0.  $85 is about the lowest I've seen them after shipping for a used one.

people will definitely sell it for lower than 85 dollars used. I've seen a few. I myself sold it at lower than 85 for sure

As I mentioned, the tips were the silicon ones that were originally installed (when I tried the foamy tips [comply type?], the sound was dull....reinstalling the silicon ones, the sound came back to life). I didn't mention that the eq  on my J3 was not flat (as you probably know, the sound can be tweaked quite a bit with the J3 sound processors)   .....the settings were from my previous phones, I didn't bother to change them for the ADV's, because the sound was so good. One other thing, I had been using Mee M-Duo's for the last month, or so. These ARE base heavy. Perhaps, when I switched to the ADV's, the difference made me perceive that their sound was brighter because I got used to the Mee's.....I don't know.

After you mentioned the Ostry KC06, I checked them out, and am now intrigued. You didn't mean the new model, the Ostry KC06A, did you. Amazon has the KC06 for $70.....is that a good price?

Thought that might be the case, they are very impressive iems, when eq'd. In regards to the KC06(which is the model I was talking about), though the $70 is the average price(you could go through taobao and get them for ~$60), I would personally wait till some more impressions of the KC06A come out. From what mochill has stated so far they are supposedly superior. However he hypes anything, and could honestly create hype around a rock lol. Just continue following that thread for a little while longer, and we should see a couple more impressions pop up. If you do decide to go with the KC06 be prepared to be surprised, they can do you no wrong. They have literally everything a person could want from an iem, and though not completely neutral they are extremely enjoyable and have gotten me listening to music that I would have otherwise discarded:)

I don't doubt it.  But I've only been watching for a month or so.  If I saw one cheaper, I'd probably have snatched it up already.
