The M500 is a great sounding headphone. The only things you need to worry about are do you need isolation and do you want to use these while moving around a lot. They are loose and on the heavy side. This makes them comfortable but not very isolating and prone to slip around (or off) the head when walking around or bending over.

It says the Sennheiser name is slightly faded and there's a dent in the CASE, not the headphones. You can buy a replacement headband from Sennheiser and it's still a great price.

If you don't wan't to buy it from that guy, go with Amazon Warehouse. I have no complaints ever since my Q701 came in for $123, completely new in box with no signs of use. It was listed as (Used - Good).
