Thanks for the heads up. I've been looking at these for awhile and due to your post I just picked up a pair. The Tesla series and the T90's in particular seem to polarize reviewers. They either think they are almost as good as the T1 or LCD 2/3 or they are simply junk. It appears to be an issue with the upper mid-range or the treble being too bright. Since I'm an no longer young my upper range of hearing is a bit dulled so I doubt this will be an issue

Did anyone receive an email saying whether or not your vFrees have shipped yet? I filled out the questionnaire on time, but I did not receive any sort of confirmation.

I got mine yesterday.   Charged them up, paired them with my iPhone 5 and tried them out while I was BBQing.  Not bad for free..................

I didn't receive a confirmation email, just the notice after completing the questionnaire stating 1-3 weeks.

Who did? I don't believe anyone got them

I received my Velodyne vFree today : )

They were brown boxed (no packaging included).
The vFree were in a Velodyne branded drawstring pouch and then bubble wrapped.
There was also a small white Velodyne labeled box with a mini-usb cord and an audio cord.
Finally there was a folded flyer/advertisement for the Velodyne skins/stickers available for the headphone.

Quality leaves a lot to be desired : (
(I can't imagine anyone trying these on, and then paying anywhere close MSRP for them)
