With that said... someone find a NAD VISO HP50 deal. They seem to be everything I would want in a headphone.

+1 on this! I was finally able to audition this yesterday and am very tempted to sell my just-bought Momentums to get the HP50s.

Yeah! Just do it! You won't regret it. The momentum sound muddy compared to the NAD.

Interesting. I got ordered a pair at the $40 price on a whim. I looked for reviews on the forum here and also Googled it.

Interesting because there are also a lot of very positive reviews for this phone as well. They were positive enough that I felt it was worth trying out for $40.

No doubt they do not sound good to many ears. But curiously a lot of folks like them, too. With such mixed reviews, I would never have considered them at a higher price, not to speak of the retail price. At the sale price, maybe worth the risk for me.

Please report back on your opinion with and without the $40 price considered.  I'd be very interested to hear what you think and if I just a got a defective one.

MH1 and MH1c is not a hype, they sound amazing, even for their original retail price they are awesome headphones.
For MH1 you will need an adapter to hear the actual sound, due to Android versions etc, the thread about the headphones explains the issue, without the adapter it will sound tiny, and almost unusable.

This is one that is still going on, although this particular headphone has not had the best of reviews.

But - many reviews were made when this cost much more.  Some reviews may have been more favorable if they were made at this $149.99 price point.   But some features or designs can be bad regardless of cost.  Some are far more reasonable on a lower priced headphone, as expectations are higher at higher prices.  Look for reviews.
