A page back someone posted about the lepai 2020. I actually heard about this speaker amp from headfi via a speaker tap thread. I purchased the same model as posted for 25+shipping. I used my hifiman HE-4 via speaker taps with them to great success. It beat the dynamics of my lyr with nos 1972 Tesla tubes but it was not as good overall. To me it will give you the sense of how they can sound with a lot of power but don't expect the world from a sub 30 amp. But the he-4 with the lepai to me was more enjoyable than with the lyr but both lacked in different areas. I moved on to a better speaker amp via speaker taps.

Yes--assuming they are "like new", as an open box pair should be.  The cheapest price for new of which I am aware is for $310 shipped in the U.S.

I don't think I'll be reviewing them...just not good enough, don't want to bash AKG though.

that is sucha joke. he's reviewed a lot of other sub-par headphones. to dismiss headphones based on a FR graph is silly b/c a FR graph alone doesn't tell the whole story.
