I have LCD2, HE-6, HD-800, Vixen V3, and others, here. Check my profile, if interested. They sound phenomenal with good components. You don't have to go crazy expensive on amps and DACs to get fantastic sound.



HE-6 and Vixen V3 are my favorites and compliment each other nicely. Nothing wrong with the others, though. At that price for the LCD2? I'd snap it up!

Yeah the IE800 were very hard to find so I grabbed both sets. I remember someone saying that TJ Maxx/Marshall re-stocks on Wednesday and that more expensive headphones are only stocked in limited quantities. Hopefully the store that I bought the IE800 will restock them, I will check the local stores then and will repost my findings if this is true.

I just received the HE400 from head-direct, and one side is FAULTY..GoSH!

 
Try swapping the cable (L to R, R to L) and see if the issue still exists for the side that is not working.  You'll be able to tell if it is the actual driver that is not working, or just one side of your cable.

Yeah, I just ordered one.  Been curious on these for quite awhile now and have been waiting for pricedrop.  I really enjoyed the 419s for the price so I have high hopes for the 439s.  Will definitely post impressions on how they compare to my 650s.  Could these possibly dethrone the Creative Aurvana Lives as my favorite valued headphones? Stay tune for review!
