The horse is back!
And patiently awaiting a pair of reasonable priced large comfy over ears for lying in bed... Should've snagged the hd598s when I had the amazon app open...

Guys, any live or expected Black Friday deal on IEM (In Ear phones)? My TF10 is dead and I am looking something at same or higher level than TF10.

Heiraudio has their BF deals going on 3.ai for 209 I think. Very similar to TF10 I thought when I had them both. I sold off the Heir only because I got TF10 for 99 years back and didn't hear a significant difference to warrant another $200. Or you could go up the ladder 4.ai is 279.

I think I recall Heir getting banned here so not sure it's ok to state this deal. If not please let me know and I will edit.

You snooze you lose horsey. Waiting on a good deal for a pair of upper tier IEMs. I'm surprised the custom companies haven't gotten into the Black Friday 50% off spirit yet.

Speaking as a 4A owner I'd stay away from Heir Audio. There's better to be had for the money out there.

For me PFE232 for $300 is best deal so far, among this sennheiser dominated black friday. Paired with AK100 II, it has an massive soundstage and sounds like an full sized headphone, I am not able to find any fault with these.

Thanks but These have recessed mids & forward Highs which is not my cup of tea.
I am so mad at myself that i missed the HD598 even though I was literally sitting on it (had the amazon page opened for 2 hours).

I do not think so, I have many neutral IEM like UE900, RE-400, etc. and still enjoy mids from PFE-232 the most, it has the sweet spot for mids, it is U shaped and not an V actually, little dip in 2k range maybe.

In short excellent mids, great bass, treble sounds very natural and fairly smooth and allow you to be involved in the music.

I've been looking for a killer deal on a DAC/headphone amp or just DAC $750-$1000. Only thing I've seen is Burson Conductor SL9018 and they've been on sale for a while now.

Anyone seen anything?

EDIT: Also looking for Grado PS500 or RS1. (RS1 at BuySonic at $499 a little high, OK in CAD though.)

I managed to snag a Sennheiser HD580 minutes ago.

Should I try to get the Fidelio X1 if they are priced at $150 or below? Are they better than the HD 598s?

Also, I see a lot of buzz about Audio Technica ATH-M50X. Is it that much better than the HD 598s or the Fidelio X1s if all of them are priced equally? Any advice is appreciated! :)

Massdrop has some dacamp deals if they haven't expired...
if you're ok with crowd funding, Light Harmonic is posting sales on the Pulse, but you wait quite a while for delivery
