Just looked, they're gone. There was at least 2 in stock 2-3 weeks ago as I bought one and there were (was) more after. There might be one back up soon as I returned mine, left gimble creaked which was a known problem and I didn't have the time to fix it (grease inside where it rotates).

Great closed back with fantastic FR response and clarity! Can be had for $240 shipped in excellent conditon from b&h.

Your new will come with warranty, which is more than 1 year from Sennheiser correct? But the $299 is shipped and has a rating of 8/10 which means it probably has a crappy box but a mint headphone.

Yeah...they're brand new and from a reputable vendor so I fully expect all Sennheiser support.  And....I like "new car" smell.

That does look like a good deal on the RS 220's.  I purchased the RS 170's for $180 and they're very good on capturing the signal wihout fallout (up to a certain distance depending on what's between the transmitter/receiver) utilizing the KLEER technology...much better than RF and 2.4 dig I've owned in the past.  The only prob with the RS 170's was the ear pads...absolute crap.  The foam inside the pleather collapses too easily and then my ears literally laid against the hard drivers which had the thinnest of foam over them...really Senn for a $280 set of cans???  So I purchased the velour pads off the upgraded model and now all is good.
 
What would not work for me w/ the 220's is they're open back.  The only reason I use wireless cans for TV occassionally is volume and/or language on adult programming like Ray Donovan (great show...

).
