Just reporting back.

This is totally a scam. Fortuneately, Walmart's refund process was painless. Once I made the call, I got a full refund in 3 days. I've also asked them to remove the seller from the marketplace.

Anyways, i reordered the HP from Thomann for a great price along with the M70x.

If it's too good to be true, it probably is....

Just out of morbid curiosity, what (if anything) did they send?

Walmart still hasn't removed the link. I don't remember the seller's name or if it's changed, but the address of this one is still a Florida trailer park.

They didn't send me anything. I just received a Fedex tracking #. And when the status showed the package was delivered, I called fedex to verify. That's when they told me it was for a different address and of course they wouldnt share which address that particular tracking # was associated with. The guy 'hinted' to a possible scam and told me i would need to get with the seller.

So i called Walmart and let them know of the scam and asked for a refund and also to remove the seller from the marketplace. They told me they will reach out to the seller and that i would receive an email within 48hrs. After 72hrs, i called them back and that's when they refunded me rightaway.

I guess that's the loophole. Fake seller would give you a tracking # with longer than usual est. delivery time, so the buyer wouldn't sound the alarm and at the same time gives them enough time to clear the funds from Walmart.

I left a bad review to but looks like mine isn't up for some reason. Maybe because I called it a "total scam." I called Walmart twice to remove them from the marketplace, but looks like that hasn't happened yet. I will call them again. Looks like there are few more reviews since then stating the package was never delivered.

Exact thing happened to me on Newegg
Bought a DT770 for $63.49 from ‘Liu Yong Store’
They delivered something to a Newyork address while the order is VA. Store disappeared from newegg right after

Luckily newegg refunded me

May be they are selling data of customers i get atleast three spam calls a day
