1 TB Micro SD for $85 for a knock off brand. Looks legit on Amazon so I ordered one, will report back on whether it is a true 1 TB or not:

Edit - fake SD Card

Even if legit, don't know how reliable this is but for use only for storing audio files which is 99% read over the lifetime, it should be ok. It's repeated write/read on the same bits that wear out the silicon.

Sorry to say, but 100% fake. It's likely something like a 16gb and 32gb card that is flashed to look like 1tb when a computer reads it.

People get caught on this because you won't fill up to 1tb for a few months (on normal usage, not audio usage) and by then your return window has passed.

EDIT: See this link: https://www.makeuseof.com/tag/how-to-spot-fake-microsd-card/

Also as a PSA, I've read amazon "pools" their inventory of SD cards from multiple sources. So even if you're buying a legit card (let's say Sandisk), you should always run a full test on the card to verify.

I would not spend $85 on this! No way it is both legit and reliable... so either you'd discover it is NOT really 1TB, or it would die on you in the next few weeks (IMHO).

I am definitely skeptical but have the utilities and also enough music to fully confirm if this is legit or not. I will just return if this is a scam.

Well it's definitely looking sketchy then. I thought with the higher price and verified reviews it may be legit. Will know for sure on this Sat.

Same thing happened to me. I haven't received emails from this threads for a while (which was a good thing for my wallet). I unsubscribed then re-subscribed the thread with email notification option, email started working again (bad for the wallet).

This worked for me. My wallet sympathizes...
