This may be slightly off-topic, but last night I compared the Monoprice HR-5 (which I had bought at a similar price a short time ago) and the Creative Aurvana Live! (which I think is very similar to the SE version) on a track from The Blind Boys of Alabama's "Down in New Orleans" using a Bravo V2 amplifier (and my laptop's DAC). They were both pleasant, but the CAL! won for me. Anyway: thank you for posting both deals; I have just ordered the CAL SE. The CAL! and the Bravo V2 are a very nice euphonic combination: hi-fi sound for $100!
Ooh. So very tempted. These have very good low end extension for a dynamic open back. Almost Fidelio X2(Woox) like but without as much elevation. And they are the lightest pair of headphones I have had on my head. Smallish cups though.

Particularly interesting are the WavePad which allows you to eq music files. And Switch to convert music file formats. And SoundTap to record music streaming.
If you have like Hifiman DAPs with no EQ and headphones like DT1990 that needs eq to let your ears live.
With these software you can use the DAPs and the headphones at the same time.
Batch conversion really lead me to even consider this option. Note the outputs of the batch uses the same file name in a new folder. But you can easily update the eqed file names in a batch like manner if you use a Mac OS highlight select and then control click to rename multiple items.
Since Hifiman and others do not yet do streaming via usb nor bluetooth, the SoundTap can be very handy. Because the DAPs sound so good we have to go backwards and forwards at the same time.
