Just received AKG K701 from amazon warehouse(used - very good) that I paid ~$110 few days back.  Looked very clean, even came with the original package.  Unfortunately there was only one left at that price so I jumped immediately.   Btw if you are looking for something on amazon, make sure  you go check at least once a day.  FYI, I'm checking senn hd800 and beyer t1 daily.   Happy hunting!

I have an Emotiva DC-1 that I will be using as a DAC and preamp in front of the KRKs. I have never had powered monitors before, and have been dreaming of getting the Rokit 8s ever since the Gen 1 versions came out. LOL! I am SUPER excited to be getting these.
