Would be interested to know as well. From what I understand, there are 2 main reasons an item can't ship to USA: dealers won't allow it, or the seller doesn't want to. I'd personally just look for deals that do ship internationally and let go of the ones that don't

$465.20. So darned tempting.
Note, other good British audio brand that might have good deals via Amazon.co.uk is Monitor Audio

Forwarding service means that you probably won't save on the VAT, especially if the forwarding service is based in the EU/UK.

Ok, so I tried this and the HD650 rings up as $291.08 USD, shipping to the US... WOW!
I'm really tempted to place my order. Is there something I'm missing, another set of fees or taxes?
What are the drawbacks to ordering overseas? How would I handle any warranty or return issues?
Thanks for you help!

Another question. The price on the HD650 product page shows £233.00, but when I go to check out the price changes to £194.17. Is there a discount or a sale running that I'm not seeing on the product page? Thanks.

Iam in Egypt, so i don't know how it works for the US.
but from 233 to 194, they removed the vat(taxes) because it is shipping to US,
And for me they add shipping and customs to egypt, see how those work for you to US, but i don't think there is any other fees ..

Be careful when you deal with credit card company's exchange rate though... I ordered Mojo Chord as well from Amazon UK, and the exchange rate was $0.06/GBP higher than the standard exchange rate. That's not much but be aware ^.^

I don't get it, people in the U.S. don't pay VAT, even if they import stuff from Europe?
So if I would import stuff to Japan (8% VAT) from the UK (20% VAT) would I save on 12% VAT?
Im a bit 'lost' (;D) on this matter, hopefully you can enlighten me.
I have no interest in importing goods, just trying to learn something.
