Sennheiser Momentum in ear open box black/red $60
Amazon's just $10 more for a new pair if you're not into open box stuff.

Amazon has 74 sets of Sennheiser IE80s from Amazon Warehouse Deals for between $169-$189.

I always worry... What if someone returned a fake and kept the real one?

Amazon's fantastic return policy would come into play then.

Over the holidays I purchased 2 items from Amazon Warehouse and both times received fakes. One time I purchased a 128gb microsd and received a 64gb one. Another I purchased a MSI 980ti and received a MSI 960 (identical coolers).

I thought, NBD, Amazon's got me covered. But in January I received an email which basically said "hey you're returning a lot, hope everything is ok." Looked and my return rate was around 5% because of those 2 items. Googled it and plenty of paranoid people thought this was Amazon's "warning" before banning you.

Consequently, I avoid AWD now.

Well my HD800, which was a deal linked here, ended up having a cut on the outer cardboard wrap, but the headphones themselves seem flawless. I've had several good/great deals from AWD, but those were the best.

I think that, if you have pictures and customer support records that you received something incorrect from what you ordered, you should be okay. The policy is mostly to keep people from buying lots of stuff to demo with all intent of returning from the start.

I'd be very surprised if returning a product that was not what you purchased counted against you...

Great price on these. Quick perusal of LCD2 on the classifieds has them listed between $750 and $850 for a used pair?

I've always wondered why too. These go on sale for $750 quite often. This is the lowest I've seen though.

Sometimes it's hard to emotionally seperate yourself from the price you've originally paid to something more realistic

Yeah, used LCD-2s were in the ~$600 range a while back.  Dunno why they went up in price.

Hmmm... it's been the same price for a few weeks (or even months) now. Newegg just switches it around whether it's in their main site, NeweggFlash, or their eBay store...
Keeps getting frontpage'd on Slickdeals everytime.
