Any good HD 700 deals (less than $499)? Looking for new or open box.

Last year Sennheiser USA cleared out their open box HD 700 stock for ~$320 on Black Friday. I'd keep an eye out for that. Absolute steal at that price. Very fun set of headphones.

Last year was absolutely incredible for the Senn deals.  Everyone was waxing on that they'd go on forever and that new models were coming....right.  I'd bet even money it's not a free for all again this year.

Even if they gave you $5k off, it's still overpriced by 30-40k. Imo of course

When you get into that much money, you should be buying real speakers. Headphones will NEVER sound as good as a serious home audio system.

I'll keep an eye out for an open box Orpheus... Come on, Sennheiser!

Most of us couldn't afford the open box itself.

ESS RLM-173 // Natural Wood $199 (Elsewhere $250)

They are fun headphones with a lush, dynamic sound. I was impressed with the combination of lively bass and detailed, natural mids and highs, and happily surprised how the two complemented each other (rather than one cancelling the other out). While bass is prominent, I don’t consider these bass cannons; that said, users who prefer a bass-light sound signature may not enjoy the 713.
